If your nausea is the result of a migraine, treating the migraine (with medication, a cold compress, rest, quiet, and darkness) will also help with the nausea and vomiting. If your upset stomach is caused by gastroesophageal reflux, you can alleviate your symptoms by taking an over-the-counter (OTC) medication and doing whatever else your doctor has advised you to do when your reflux flares up. Of course, there are other possible causes of nausea and vomiting, too.
1 TBS apple cider vinegar plus 1 TBS honey mixed in 1 cup of water, sip. Can be hot or cold drink, whichever you prefer.
Fresh lime or lemon squeezed in glass of water; sprinkle a little salt on top, sip.
Just freshly ground ginger root (fair amount, don't be stingy) into hot water, let steep like tea and sieve the grated pieces out with a spoon or cover the hot water with a piece of cheesecloth or gauze for easy removal following the steeping process. Drink while hot and may put in a tablespoon of honey for flavor but remember that honey has sedative effects.
Some have found that just smelling a lemon can ease nausea. The next time you're feeling sick to your stomach, cut open a lemon and take a deep breath. This simple treatment might soothe your upset stomach. However, if the lemon smell just makes your nausea worse, toss the lemon and try something else.
Acupressure can benefit provided you know the right pressure points. You can do this by applying pressure between the thumb and forefinger. QUESTION:
How doI get rid of a Kidney Stone?
I have a Kidney stone approximately 6mm in size in my ureter. It doesn't hurt right now. It did about a week ago. I know it's there because I had a CT scan and KUB done. What can I do to get it out besides drink lots of water? I have an appointment with a Urologist on Monday. What procedure would be most likely to be used?-
ANSWER:
I know allot of times they wait till they pass on there own, because most do. My mother had kidney stones all threw out her late 20's to early 40's. She normally did not drink, but when she had a kidney stone she would consume large amounts of cranberry juice and have beer before she would go to bed. The cranberry juice to help with any infection and to aid in flushing of the stone. The beer or any alcohol is to relax the ureter. Relaxed ureters are part of the reason you pee so much when you drink. If the ureters can relax enough to get the stone to pass you will not have to have an uncomfortable procedure done.On the other hand...if it is too big this will not work. It may not work anyway. But I have heard that getting drunk will help pass them. If your looking for a reason to go out and get blitzed, now's your excuse. If you do not drink for some reason, then cranberry juice will help more than plain water. Cranberries have properties in them that make them very good for bladder and kidney problems.

QUESTION:
Stone in left Kidney of size 4.7mm and 7.6mm. Is operation avoidable? Can these pass through urine please?-
ANSWER:
your stones are a little big to pass....that would be EXTREMELY painful. Dunno if you have had them before, but they are not fun. There is a new procedure they do that used soundwaves to break them up (so to speak) and then they put a drainage tube (directly connected to your kidney) I believe, and your urine and remnants of the stone pass through that. I know having a tube sticking out of you doesn't sound very pleasant, but It damn sure beats passing it...especially if you're male....your urethra is much longer than a females and has a longer journey to go to actually pass out of you and into the toilet!! Hope that helps...good luck
